Lab-grown diamonds are diamonds grown in a laboratory. Natural diamonds formed in the earth. These terms describe origin; they should not be blurred together in a listing.
Origin does not give you a complete description. Read the colour, clarity, cut, measurements, condition and treatment information for the individual stone, along with any report supplied with the lot.
Teals lists natural and lab-grown stones. Lab-grown stones are labelled as such. If origin or another important detail is unclear in a listing, ask before placing a bid.
Compare the individual lots and their supporting information. A natural or lab-grown label alone does not establish what a stone should cost, or what someone might offer for it later.
